20 Fun Facts About the Wyant Group
You have probably heard the name Wyant or Vaughn Wyant before. While many may associate the Wyant Group with Jubilee Ford, the group encompasses a whole lot more. Here are twenty facts that you may not have known about the Wyant Group:
1. Vaughn won Ford’s Salute to Dealers award in 2017 and was selected from among 12,000 worldwide.
2. Vaughn purchased Saskatchewan’s Jaguar franchise in 1994 and Volvo in 1996.
3. The Wyant Group was formerly known as VWAG (Vaughn Wyant Automobile Group).
4. In 2016, the Wyant Group sponsored the raceway owned and operated by the Saskatoon Stock Car Racing Association Ltd. It has now been rebranded as the Wyant Group Raceway.

5. The Wyant Group has eighteen dealerships in Saskatchewan and B.C.
6. The Wyant Group employs approximately 425 people.

7. The Wyant Group began with the purchase of Jubilee Ford in Saskatoon, in November 1983.

8. Vaughn loves premium automobiles. This love was the catalyst for purchasing Mercedes–Benz/smart car for northern Saskatchewan in 2008.
9. The Jubilee Ford Dealership is referred to as “The Mothership“ amongst employees.
10. In 2001, Mitsubishi arrived in Canada and Vaughn brought this automaker to northern Saskatchewan through Saskatoon Mitsubishi.
11. The Wyant Group purchased Lakeland Ford in 2009 and Riverside Hyundai in 2016 (now Lakeland Hyundai). Both dealerships are located in Prince Albert.
12. Vaughn and his family have helped raise more than $2 million for the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Saskatchewan (now known as the Jim Pattison’s Children’s Hospital Foundation).

13. Vaughn purchased Land Rover for Saskatchewan in 2002.
14. Kelowna Volvo was added in 2005 and Vernon Hyundai in 2008. Kelowna Autosport came to be with the addition of the Jaguar and Land Rover in 2008.
15. Vaughn gave $500,000 to the University of Saskatchewan’s new rink project, the Home Ice Campaign.

16. In 2011 the Wyant Group was awarded a Porsche Cars Canada franchise in July and Porsche Centre Saskatchewan was born.
17. In 2012 Vaughn donated $1 million to the Remai Modern Art Gallery.

18. Audi Kelowna was purchased in 2015 and expanded the Wyant Group’s offering in the Okanagan.
19. Vaughn worked with the Wheels of Dreams team, as well as Gene Simmons and Shannon Tweed, and others to build and sell a custom Ford Model T at the Barrett Jackson Collector Car Event. The Snakebit F-100 raised $450,000 for the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Saskatchewan.
