How long will it take to repair my vehicle?

Every auto body repair situation is different. That being said, it could take as little as one afternoon or it could take up to a week. Our team at Alloy Collision Centre will be in communication with you during the entire process giving you an estimated completion date.

With our multiple service hoists and bays, we will make sure you get your vehicle back in factory condition and fast, with no comprise to quality. We have a thorough auto body and collision repair process to ensure that our vehicle is returned to you aligned, detailed, inspected, test driven and ready to hit the road again.

Why can’t I get an estimate over the phone?

Vehicle damage varies and seeing images or video over the phone is different than in person. We want to make sure that you get the most accurate information and quote possible so we can repair your vehicle how it should be repaired based on the damage. By bringing your vehicle directly into Alloy Collision Centre, our technicians can view it in person and together with our team can give you the most accurate collision repair estimate possible.

Do I have to make an appointment for an estimate?

At Alloy Collision Centre we will schedule your appointments at your convenience, however an appointment for an estimate is not required. If you have any questions regarding having an estimate done on your vehicle please give us a call at 306-(306) 374-3831 or complete our online form to begin the process.

What are your hours of operation?

Alloy Collision Centre is open Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. We are closed on Saturdays, Sundays and most holidays. Please check our website for holiday hours.

Where should I tell the tow truck company to tow my vehicle to?

You can have your vehicle towed to Alloy Collision Centre. Do not allow a tow truck driver to take your car to their impound lot. Bringing your vehicle direction to Alloy Collision Centre will save you money on extra towing and impound fees as well as speed up the vehicle repair process.

How soon can I get an appointment?

You do not need an appointment to get an estimate. You can come into Alloy Collision Centre at 500 Melville St, Saskatoon, SK S7J 5L2 anytime during regular business hours. If your vehicle is not drivable, please call or email Alloy Collision Centre at 306-374-3831 and we help to make arrangements or send an estimator to you.

How do I get a claim number?

You will be assigned a claim number by SGI upon reporting the accident. Your claim number is the information Alloy Collision Centre needs to start repairing your vehicle. If you can not locate that claim number, contact SGI at (306) 683-2100.

Help! I’ve been in an accident. What should I do?

Stay Calm
Make sure your care is stopped and that the ignition is off.
Call 911 if someone is injured, if the vehicle is non-drivable, or icy ou suspend the other driver may be under the influence.
1. 1. Do not move any injured parties unless you need to move them in order to save their life.
  2. For hit and run accidents, call the Saskatoon Police at 306-975-2375.
  3. If the police do attend the scene, ask them for a file number.
If neither party is injured (and it is safe to do so), move your vehicle to the side of the road out of the way of traffic and turn ignition off.
1. 1. If you cannot drive your car, make sure your hazard lights are turned on.
Exchange contact information and license plate numbers with the other driver. Be sure to get their name, address, telephone number and insurance information.
1. 1. Do not discuss fault, responsibility, or circumstances with the other driver(s). This is the job of the insurance company. Contact with the other driver ends here.
  2. Do not sign anything if you have not read it or do not understand it. Whatever it is, it can wait until you have had time to look at it more carefully.
If it safe to do so, take photos at the scene of the accident with your phone if you have one available.
Report the accident by telephone at 306-683-2100 or submit an SGI Auto E-Claim within 24 hours if possible.
Your adjuster will contact you to set up an appointment. If you vehicle isn’t drivable, ask SGI to have it towed to Alloy Collision Centre.

Alloy Collision Centre will complete the required information with SGI and call you to set up an appointment.
